Yeah, we got the Pink!!!
Would you look at this stack of February issues of all my magazines? Only Country Living didn't play along with the normal pink theme this year.
This is most likely my last post of pink-ness. The green season (St. Patrick's Day, also my birthday) is almost upon us, and green is my favorite color. I'll be searching high and low for a shamrock or clover punch to use in my card making.
I'm not exactly thrilled with this next batch of cards, made using the sketch in the
January issue of Sheetload of Cards. Sheetload is cool, but it's definitely geared toward stamping card makers vs. scrapping card makers. I've learned that I'm mostly certainly a scrappy card maker.
But, you don't learn anything without trying, right? And I don't think these cards are *terrible* (though they may be pretty close). I do love the owl stamp.
Now this next set of cards (the last of my Valentine's cards for the year), these cards I love. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and a Martha Stewart edge punch to create the clean, graphic look that I like in a card.
The only question with these is: to Stickle, or not to Stickle?
