Geek Girl - March 2, 2014

Sunday, March 2, 2014

The geek community has been filled with much sadness this week after the passing of beloved author Aaron Allston. Among his many published works are some of my personal favorites- the Wraith Squadron series of novels- and I could always count on his books to be entertaining, well thought out, and downright funny. I don't know how many times I've laughed out loud while reading his books, and I'm glad for the chance to have met him at Star Wars Celebration VI.

As expected, there has been an outpouring of sadness and remembrance across the fandom community. Club Jade has posted their own thoughts, as well as rounded up posts from others.

I almost decided to cancel this week's Geek Girl roundup, but I think that Aaron would have wanted the geek to go on.

Yub yub, Mr. Allston. This roundup is for you.

gg march 2

From the top left:

  • We've already seen Star Wars couture from Rodarte New York Fashion Week, and now design house Preen has debuted their own line at London Fashion Week.
  • In perhaps the weirdest, and yet most magical mashup ever, the My Little Ponies have met Daleks. Rainbow Dash is shown above, and you can see the entire lineup if you click through the link.
  • Disney has announced the lineup for 2014's Star Wars weekends, and, sadly, the Hyerspace Hoopla (which I was so looking forward to actually being able to see in person this year) has been cancelled. They have added a fifth weekend, though, so if you'll be at Disney later in June and want to swing by, you have some extra time now.
  • Lego has revealed their new Ghostbusters building set.
  • Yes, it's true- we will be getting a sequel to Dr. Horrible! Does this mean that Nathan Fillion will reprise standing on top of buses while singing?
  • This mini museum containing, among other things, tiny bits of mummy wrap, coal from the Titanic, and a piece of the Apollo 11 command module. It's just a Kickstarter project for now, but there are only a few sponsorship spots remaining and they've collected nearly $1 million dollars of their original $38K goal.
  • The availability of the final "missing season" of the Clone Wars has been solved. Netflix will have exclusive rights to the rest of series and will begin streaming episodes on March 7.
  • Jeffrey Brown, author of Vader and Son and Vader's Little Princess is working on the next book in the series- Goodnight Darth Vader. Look for this installment in June.
  • A recent piece on BuzzFeed replaces previous Doctor Who actors with American counterparts, with sometimes hilarious results.

Geek Girl - February 23, 2013

Sunday, February 23, 2014

Hola, and happy Sunday, geeklings!

I'm a bit wiped after yesterday's IKEA trip- 4.5 hours of driving one way, lots time in the store, and I think than 80% of Ohio decided to shop there on the same day, to boot! We still managed to get everything we were after, but today Mom and I are just a bit tired. :)

The geek goes on, though, as always, and, in addition to today's roundup, you'll find a 49 page preview of the upcoming Han Solo standalone novel, Honor Among Thieves, over at Random House (click on the "Look Inside" button below the image of the book cover).  It's been quite a while since I had a new Star Wars book to read, so I'm looking forward to this novel's March 4 release.

Tonight's video is a long-ish one,  but absolutely amazing to watch as Adam Savage (of Mythbusters fame) builds a replica of Han Solo's blaster.

Geek Girl - February 16, 2014

Sunday, February 16, 2014

We're finally, finally, finally starting to see some sunshine and warmer temperatures here, meaning that soon I'll be spending lots of time outside and not bemoaning the fact that both Downton Abbey and Sherlock are finished for their respective seasons, with a couple of months to go still until Doctor Who starts up again. It'll instead be a time for running, gardening, and relaxing and reading books and blogs on my iPad in the back yard.

Speaking of blogs, here are my nine geeky picks from blogland this week. Enjoy!

gg feb 16

From the top left:
  • I'm always amazed at the creativity of the artists on Etsy. They come out with the most amazing ideas, like these Star Wars terrarium necklaces and rings by The House of Boo.
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles look awesomely adorable atop these cupcakes featured at Between the Pages.
  • This gorgeous planetarium watch not only tells time, but it also shows accurate positions of the five planets closest to Earth as they orbit the sun.
  • Artist James Hance, famous for his Wookie the Chew paintings, has expanded the mashup into photography in a most squee-worthy manner.
  • Actor Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) recently released a set of behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of the original trilogy. There are some absolute gems in this set!
  • Oh, the things you'll find on the web site of the I Can Has Cheezburger network...like a Dalek made from a cheese grater!
  • Hello, Ruby is a new book by Finnish computer programmer Linda Liukas that helps children learn the principles of writing code. This software engineering geek gives the concept two thumbs way up!
  • When Geeks Wed posted a roundup of geeky confections by Cake's Cove, including this gorgeous Death Star cake.
  • Captain American macarons? Yes, please! You'll find these and lots of other geeky superhero party ideas at Hostess with the Mostess.

Geek Girl - February 9, 2014

Sunday, February 9, 2014

I have to start this week's Geek Girl off with a video clip that my Mom sent over to me a few days ago. I'd heard that Benedict Cumberbatch was scheduled to make an appearance on Sesame Street, but I wasn't sure when. I don't know if it's actually aired yet or not, but it's at least hit YouTube!!

::sigh:: Is it time for Series 4 of Sherlock yet? Can we please get this man to play Doctor Who?

Speaking of Doctor Who, a sparkly TARDIS leads off this week's picks, so allon-sy!

gg feb 9

From the top let:

  • For just $150 and a pair of heels or wedges of your choosing, Made By Bunny will make you your very own pair of sparkly Van Gogh style exploding TARDIS shoes.
  • The Etsy shop of 8 Bit Memory is full of awesome Nintendo cartridges that have been turned into external hard drive enclosures (with the drive included!).
  • This Star Wars inspired droid is completely motorized and built from Legos!
  • How adorable is this Minion cake by My Sweet Obsession? The eyes are absolutely perfect!
  • If you're a girl who's more comfortable in Tom's than in heels (that would totally be me), then you'll love these hand painted Han Solo and Chewbacca shoes by Change Your Fate.
  • We've already had a Minion and an astromech in this week's roundup, but we have the two combined, as well!
  • These amazing Star Wars nails are just one of many awesome geeky designs by JeeA Lee, featured on When Geeks Wed.
  • Lucasfilm has teamed up with rapper 50 Cent to design four new sets of headphones including Rebel Alliance, Imperial, Stormtrooper, and Boba Fett designs.
  • In other sounds news, Daleks made almost completely of speakers invaded the recent CES show.

I'll wrap things up with just one of the many video trailers that released during the Super Bowl last Sunday. Club Jade also has a roundup with all of them, along with the usual snark. I love the snark!

Geek Girl - February 2, 2014

Sunday, February 2, 2014

I've been avoiding the Super Bowl this evening and instead wrapping up my CHA Winter 2014 coverage- 35 booth posts and more than 2,000 photos worth of it! If you missed any of the posts, they're all filed under the CHA Winter 2014 tag, and you can also see all 35 related Flickr sets in this collection.

Before I retire from the computer for the evening and settle in to watch the last episode of this series of Sherlock (a much more anticipated event in this household than almost any sporting event), though, I wanted to get in a good round of Geek Girl! And next week? I'll be blogging from my semi-permanent seat on the sofa for 2+ weeks- the Olympics are the only sporting event sure to invoke my couch potato mode!

gg feb 21

From the top left:

  • You know it had to happen eventually- Downton Abbey has now been immortalized in Lego, complete with customized minifigures.
  • File this under "Most Likely Just a Wild Rumor," but word going around is that Hugo Weaving (The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Captain America...and about a zillion other movies) is "attached" to the upcoming new Star Wars movie as an Imperial commander. If they do not also have a "Lieutenant Anderson," it will be a crime against all that is good and geeky.
  • There's a Kickstarter project up at the moment to make geeky sprinkles. TARDIS, steampunk, and Harry Potter sprinkles, to be exact!
  • The BBC recently released the first photos of Peter Capaldi on the Doctor Who set (thanks for sending that link along, Fiona!), along with a reveal of the 12th Doctor's outfit.
  • This set of My Little Pony themed wedding bands was featured on Fashionably Geek.
  • As the owner and operator of a small laser cutter, I totally sympathize with the amount of work and planning that went into these amazingly geeky laser-etched wood blocks.
  • Danielle Thompson made the incredible kawaii solar system bracelet out of Sculpey clay. I have got to learn how to do this!
  • One of my favorite geeky artists, Katie Cook, recently posted several Star Wars/My Little Pony mashup drawings on Twitter, including this one of Pinkie Pie as a Jedi
  • This exploding TARDIS was created by Adventures in Acetone (what an awesome name for a blog!) in celebration of Doctor Who's 50th anniversary special.

And one last thing before I go- the trailer for the new Muppet movie, due out this coming March!

Geek Girl - January 26, 2013

Sunday, January 26, 2014

We're in a happy, BBC-induced geeky stupor around here since our Sunday nights are now occupied by both Downton Abbey and Sherlock! It's also a bit busy for me on the blog with CHA coverage still rolling out. That'll wrap up this week, though, and I'll be back on a more sane writing schedule. Tonight, though, I'm just going to drop off the picks and wish you a happy geeky week!

Geek Girl - January 19, 2013

Sunday, January 19, 2014

We had a close call here at Casa de Geek Girl when I realized I'd forgotten to set the Tivo up to record the first episode of Sherlock tonight! Ironically, we'd just finished watching Thursday's episode of Elementary (because heaven forbid I should have to watch anything in real-time) when I discovered my mistake, but PBS has come to my rescue with a re-airing occurring sometime shortly before 2am tomorrow. Situation handled, case closed, and tomorrow night we'll be watching the newly recorded goodness with a fire in the fireplace and all other manner of coziness.

There is, of course, lots of geeky news out there beyond my own personal non-emergencies, so let's get to this week's roundup!

Tonight's video pick is an adorable and hilarious video by Air New Zealand, reminding up all that Middle Earth is closer than we think.

Geek Girl - January 12, 2014

Sunday, January 12, 2014

Right now the blog is filled with scrapbooking news, but there's some great geekiness going on this week, as well! I'm taking a tiny break from editing CHA booth photos to post this week's Geek Girl column, starting with this recently released deleted scene from the 2013 Doctor Who Christmas special.

In other BBC news, Radio Times reports that Steven Moffat and crew have Series 4 and 5 of Sherlock plotted out. That doesn't necessarily mean that the actors will be available to make those ideas come to life, but at least we have a glimmer of hope that the show will continue.

And, of course, along with the news comes the usual bit of geeky randomness. Enjoy!

Geek Girl - January 5, 2014

Sunday, January 5, 2014

While January 1st was officially Sherlock Day for the UK, those of us in the US are stuck waiting until the 19th for the much-anticipated third season of the show. In the meantime, the BBC quietly released a mini episode on Christmas Eve that will have to tide me over until PBS/Masterpiece Classic picks up the series Stateside.

At least we have Downton Abbey to tide us over until the Sherlock-y fun begins! Now, on with this week's picks...

gg dec 15

From the top left:
  • I am completely smitten with Treno Nights on Etsy. The selection of charms is amazing and includes the doctors as shown on the charm bracelet above. My personal favorite? The terrifyingly adorable weeping angel.
  • Winnie the Pooh becomes Jabba the Hutt in this too cute for words artwork by Kenny Durkin.
  • Bit Rebels featured a set of 50 Lego scenes- one for each state depicting its most famous stereotype.
  • George Takei (of Star Trek fame) has become one of the latest celebrities with his own perfume fragrance- Eau My.
  • This Big Bang Theory inspired birthday party was featured on Amy Atlas' blog.
  • Some geeks with PhDs have come up with a probable explanation for how the TARDIS could actually work. Nerd Approved has the non-physicist version along with a link to the in-depth technical paper.
  • I've never ordered cookies from Etsy, but there are certainly some cool ones- like these Star Wars sweets- available!
  • When Geeks Wed rounded up some of the best geekiest rings available.
  • These How To Train Your Dragon cupcakes are seriously too cute for words. The dragon has its tongue stuck out, people!!
This week's video pick is an absolutely gorgeous violin remake of some of the music from Legend of Zelda, played by the talented Taylor Davis.

Geek Girl - December 29, 2013

Sunday, December 29, 2013

It's the last Geek Girl of 2013, and we're in that in-between time when the Doctor Who Christmas Special has ended and those of us in the US are waiting (not so) patiently for the new series of Downton Abbey and Sherlock to start. Until then, hopefully this week's roundup will keep you at least somewhat entertained!

gg dec 22

From the top left:
  • Edible Lego minifigures + cupcakes = epic win!
  • Darren absolutely loves the art of M.C. Escher, so when I spotted one of his paintings brought to life in Lego over at The Brothers Brick, I had to include it here.
  • Am I the only person giggling right now and remembering the episode of Chuck where he and Morgan wore a joint Sandworm costume? Now you can make your own Shai Hulud (of Dune fame) costume with directions from Instructables.
  • You can add this Millennium Falcon bookcase to the list of Star Wars derived furniture that's been featured here over the years.
  • These Lord of the Rings cake pops are so well done that I can look past the fact that they all look like severed heads on pikes!
  • Yoshi is one of my favorite video game characters ever, and Nerd Approved posted an absolutely adorable comic showing him in all of his cuteness.
  • Star Wars fans are anxiously awaiting any news of Episode VII, especially when it comes to the title. Until that's revealed, though, play around with making your own with the title generator at Empire Online.
  • A deleted scene from Star Wars: A New Hope has surfaced that sheds new light on Luke + Leia's back story.
  • I'll close the roundup out tonight with another Lego pick- an article (including a trailer) about the first official Lego movie.

I do have one bit of video to share before I go, though- Cookie Monster starring in a Sesame Street takeoff of Lord of the Rings!

Geek Girl - December 22, 2013

Sunday, December 22, 2013

It's just a few short days until the Doctor Who Christmas Special (and, of course, Christmas itself), and the BBC has released an extended trailer that shows more of the action waiting for fans in this episode. With Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels, and The Silence all included, it's sure to be epic!

Since it's the last weekend before Christmas, it's also my last chance to get some great holiday geekiness posted...with a little news thrown in, too. :)

gg dec 221

From the top left:
  • This has got to be, hands down, the best Christmas sweater ever!
  • It's not Christmas until someone posts a Dalek tree, and this year Gizmodiva (and a few other sites) picked up this image from Twitter.
  • Disney has announced the dates for Star Wars weekends 2014. You can read all about it here.
  • Want even more awesome Star Wars news for the new year? Mythbusters will be releasing a Star Wars themed episode in January. There's a trailer for the new season if you click through the link!
  • Now that the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special has safely passed, Steve Moffat has disclosed his thoughts on including the 9th Doctor in the episode had Eccleston decided to return.
  • Between the Pages posted a fantastic Grinch cake, complete with a dangling Max.
  • The annual Lucasfilm Christmas card is always a treat, and this year's version features a horde of caroling bounty hunters.
  • This Christmas season has been light on geeky gingerbread, but at least we have this amazing gingerbread Optimus Prime to tide us over.
  • Need some stocking stuffers for your geekling? Nerdalicious has rounded up some of the best geeky sweets on the market right now.
Tonight's video pick has been making its way around the interwebs lately (thanks to my li'l bro J for sending it to me!), but it's too perfect for me not to be the next in line to post it. Sit back and enjoy as the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation performs their own version of Let It Snow.

Geek Girl - December 15, 2013

Sunday, December 15, 2013

As we move ever closer to Geekmas, more and more little tidbits are surfacing about two big premieres- the Doctor Who Christmas Special, and the return of Benedict Cumberbatch in Series 3 of Sherlock. A new, longer trailer for the former and the first trailer for the latter were released this week, and they look amazing!

We've also been treated to a slew of promotional images for The Time of the Doctor, including an awesome set of posters, and in Sherlock news, the air date (1.1.14) was announced in a most suitable fashion.

And in non-BBC news, Disney and Paramount have reached an agreement on the Indiana Jones properties. As long as any subsequent movies are not as bad as that fourth one, I can live with it.

Christmas has also finally hit the geeky blogosphere full force, and tonight's roundup is full of merry goodness!

It's raining and cold outside on this Geek Girl Sunday, so we're staying indoors where it's warm and cozy, playing a little Wii and enjoying the view through the window of the outdoor Christmas lights that we just put out yesterday.

There's not much Christmas-y in this week's roundup, but as we approach the holiday, I'm sure that more seasonal ideas will trickle in!

gg dec 8

From the top left:

  • So often we're treated to photos of gorgeous cakes before they're cut into, but this post on Tie Fighters proves that people actually do eat them! There are also photos of this R2-D2 cake pre-slicing if you click through the link.
  • It had to happen eventually- the Briggs-Meyers personality types have been correlated to Star Wars characters.
  • Between the Pages always features the most amazing geeky cakes, and this Book of Monsters confection is no exception!
  • You can pick up the patterns for this Lord of the Rings quiet book at JulieBell (Etsy).
  • The Nailasaurus came up with this stunning Doctor Who themed nail art for the 50th anniversary special.
  • Avanaut's Lego Star Wars photography is simply amazing! That link goes to the main Flickr account, but you can see a roundup of just the Lego photos here.
  • Carry your stuff in style in this Star Wars X-Wing backpack.
  • The amazingly detailed Death Star trench run effect in the photo above is actually a set of custom home theater tiles! You can read more about them at Tom Spina Designs.
  • GenefyPlayground (Etsy) has an adorable selection of sci-fi and comic themed wedding cake toppers.

Five year old Lindalee is the Nerdist's youngest reporter, and in this week's video features she's interviewing Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman! J, this had better be Sophie in two years!!

Geek Girl - December 1, 2013

Sunday, December 1, 2013

It's only the first of December, but it feels like both Star Wars and Doctor Who fans alike have been given an early Christmas with the wealth of news, teasers, trailers, and special episodes that have been released lately. Tonight's roundup includes a few more tidbits in that vein, including book, movie, and video game news!

gg dec 1

From the top left:

  • The next book in the Star Wars Empire and Rebellion series officially has a title and cover art! Due out on March 4, Honor Among Thieves will center around Han Solo. With a title like that, who else could it be?
  • The BBC is reporting that R2-D2 has been confirmed for the new Star Wars sequel trilogy, and that this time around the little robot will be a fan-built model! There are some seriously talented R2 builders in the Star Wars community, so this is exciting news!
  • The post-Thanksgiving shopping season has brought Santa Maul out of hibernation over at Club Jade. He's always hilarious and also quite helpful when it comes to shopping for the geeks in your life, and I recommend checking out the posts as they come out this season!
  • This 1/3 scale model TARDIS was built entirely out of Legos!
  • If you're a fan of both Candy Crush and Doctor Who, then you should definitely check out the new Doctor Who: Legacy game that was released for Android and iOS this week. It combines a Bejeweled-like puzzle game with turn-based action, and has beautiful graphics to boot!
  • Speaking of Doctor Who, the first official images along with the episode name for the upcoming Christmas special have been released. The Time of the Doctor will officially be Matt Smith's last episode on the series and will introduce the new incarnation, played by Peter Capaldi.
  • I think I need this "Don't Blink" bracelet from Emery Drive's Etsy shop.
  • One of Think Geek's newest and cutest items is this R2-D2 car charger. It plugs into the cigarette lighter and has USB ports to charge your gadgets while on the go.
  • This super cute Star Wars/Doctor Who mashup artwork was featured recently on Epbot, and while it's not available for sale yet, Jen is trying to convince the artist to offer prints.
This week's video pick is perhaps the most epic wedding cake ever. Instead of fashioning embellishments out of fondant and gum paste, the cake designer chose to project video game images onto the cake, to a rather mesmerizing effect!

After an unexpected trip out of town yesterday and an awesome (pre-planned) visit by my parents today to help me build the most awesome craft desk ever, Darren and I finally had the chance to settle in and watch the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special. I won't post an spoilers here, but I did happen across this tiny deleted scene on YouTube that shouldn't give any of the plot away.

In a few weeks, once the iTunes and DVR crowd (that I'm definitely part of) has a chance to catch up, I'll definitely let loose with some G----------------------..errr, wait, I can't say that just yet! But here's a roundup of things that I can talk about- enjoy!

The 50th anniversary episode of Doctor Who needs to just get here already!

While we still have another week to go before the debut of The Day of the Doctor, the BBC is doing its best to keep us entertained with a string of mini episodes and teasers posted to their YouTube channel. Last week I shared one, and this week I have two more, including a hint that we will indeed finally see what really went on during the Time War.

Geek Girl - November 10, 2013

Sunday, November 10, 2013

So much awesome geeky news broke after I'd put together this week's roundup, so tonight I'm going to kick things off with the two most exciting pieces.

First, the BBC has been on a blitz updating their YouTube channel daily (sometimes several times a day) with teasers and tidbits related to The Day of the Doctor, which is just a couple of weeks away! I'll embed the longest of the teasers below, but you can see more videos here, here, here, and here.

Excuse me while I pause on the frame with David Tennant being brilliant...

Okay, I'm back now!

In other news, Star Wars Episode VII has an official release date, and it's quite the departure from the norm for the franchise. Instead of a May release, fans can consider the film something of an early Christmas gift when it opens on December 15, 2015.

And if that wasn't enough geekiness (and, honestly, is there ever enough?), then I've got nine more fun little items to share with you tonight. Enjoy!

Geek Girl - November 3, 2013

Sunday, November 3, 2013

This week's Geek Girl post is filled with lots of news and a peek or two at things to come. It's a good time to be a geek!

gg nov 3

From the top left:

  • Her Universe peeked a preppy new TARDIS cardigan that'll be appearing on their site soon.
  • The Making Of series of Star Wars books was re-released last week in enhanced eBook form.
  • We Love Fine has released their new fall lineup of leggings and apparel, including this awesome TARDIS pair featuring a below-the-knee graphic for those of use who like to cover our rumps when wearing tight-fitting pants.
  • A brochure outlining Disney's marketing plans for Star Wars leading up to the release of Episode VII leaked out onto the interwebs recently. There are quite a few interesting tidbits on the horizon for Star Wars fans, including an as-yet unexplained "Digital Library."
  • Amazon has had some news on the eBook front this week, including the announcement of Matchbook- a service that will allow you (for a small fee) to download a digital copy of physical books that have been purchased from the online retailer. They've also announced the Kindle First program which will see the early release of four new books each month. All four books will be available to Kindle readers only for one month before their street dates, and readers can choose one book to purchase for $1.99 (Prime members get one book free).
  • There have been some awesome post-Halloween geek pumpkin posts this week, and this illustration of the Enterprise chasing the Millennium Falcon is definitely one of my favorites!
  • There's been a bit of a shakeup on the writing staff for Star Wars Episode VII. Michael Arndt has departed the team, and JJ Abrams will now be collaborating with Lawrence Kasdan on the sequel's screenplay.
  • In even more eBook news, the FAA has finally ruled that personal electronic devices such as eReaders and cell phones are safe to use during almost all phases of flight, with the exception of the actual takeoff and landing roll. The changes will be rolled out incrementally across all airlines in the coming months, so soon electronic book readers should be able to read right through the safety announcements like their paper-reading counterparts.
  • Bruce Campbell teased and all but confirmed Army of Darkness 2. I suppose he needs something to do now that my beloved Burn Notice has ended!
Tonight's video is a companion to the re-release of the Making of Star Wars books- a blooper reel from the filming of the original trilogy! There's no sound on the first few clips, but the audio picks up after that.

Sunday, October 27, 2013

The 50th anniversary of Doctor Who is nearly upon us, and the BBC released the first official images from the upcoming special this week! Look for the special to air on Saturday, November 23, and there's also news that Season 3 of Sherlock and Season 4 of Downton Abbey are imminent.

There's also a bit of Doctor Who news in this week's roundup, along with the usual mix of geekiness, so lets's get started!

gg oct 27

From the top left:

  • Random House is set to publish the Death Star Owner's Technical Manual on November 5, and they've already posted a peek inside on their web side.
  • Hostess with the Mostess featured a great monster themed birthday party.
  • Disney is set to open it's first Marvel themed ride since acquiring the comic franchise. Look for the Iron Man Experience to open in 2016...in Hong Kong.
  • Thanks to a time with the BBC didn't see any value in keeping films of old television programs, dozens of Doctor Who episodes from the earliest years of the show have been lost for decades. Occasionally tape will turn up in a forgotten warehouse or station that ordered copies to air, and recently nine of those episodes were found, restored, and offered for download on iTunes.
  • Serenity is set to fly again in a new comic book series based on Firefly. Look for the first issue of Leaves on the Wind to be published on January 29, 2014.
  • A new Star Wars animated show of course means a new run of action figures, and the packaging for the spinoff toys from the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels has been revealed.
  • You know all those Star Wars duct tape jokes? Well, now there's the real thing...
  • This Boba Fett ornament is just one of many geeky globes you'll find at Ginger Pots on Etsy.
