Wow what an exciting week it's been! The Sweet Peach Crop Shop design team was officially announced (and my name was on the list!), and my first kit arrived just a few days later. I've got the weekend off, and while I have some major cleaning and gardening to be done, you can bet I'm still going to be digging into that new kit ASAP!

The sneaks of the July kit are up at the Sweet Peach Crop Shop blog!

The lovely Sweet Kit arrived on my doorstep yesterday- I can't wait to make some pages with it to share with you all!

I love the sassy frills and flowers in the Juicy Kit- I might just have to order this one as an extra. (Each month the design team divides up, and half work with the Sweet Kit and the other half with the Juicy Kit.)

And is that a Mister Huey I spy in the Embellishment Add-On?

The colors are so yummy this month- I'm so excited to start creating!

Birthday/Mother's Day/Father's Day season seems to run from March to June around here. In that short span of time we have two major holidays, plus oodles of birthdays (including Mom, Beth, and me, just to name a few). We seem to be celebrating something every other weekend these days! And in the fall there's another big clump, but that's another story for another day.

Today's story is about Beth's birthday party at the end of April. I've already blogged it and scrapped several pages of photos from the event, but none of them were specifically about her birthday...until now. So, here you go, Beth. :)

I experimented with edge treatments on both the top and bottom of the page. These, like buttons, are a perfect way to bring balance to the Force your layout by giving an empty area a bit more visual weight. Plus they're just fun to make. :)
