Hello, and welcome to the September edition of the Gardeners' Digest blog hop! This month the Garden Girls at Two Peas in a Bucket are gathering once again to share a little about what's inspiring us at the moment, what's caught our eye in the shop recently, and what we have coming up soon! I also have a little giveaway this month, and you'll find details on that at the bottom of this post.
If you found your way here from
Lilith's lovely blog, then you're making your way around the hop! If you're lost or just want to see all of the links in one place, then the
Two Peas blog is the right place for you.
Next Saturday it's my turn again to host the weekly Project Life video at Two Peas, and I'll be tackling those pesky first and last album pages that I never seem to get filled in. There'll also be a short lesson on using digital brushes and tips for faking the big, cut-up photo look if you're like me and send almost all of your photos off to a developer who prints at 4x6.
I've assembled some fun products to play with, including the
Wonderful Day collection from Fancy Pants along with the
Chalkboard Albums Made Easy kit from We R Memory Keepers (I am so in love with these cards that it's not funny!) for my pages, and I hope that you'll join me next Saturday, the 28th!
The layouts that are inspiring me in the gallery this month are reminding me that small is good! Aleksandra Gadji, LimeDoodle, MissSmith, and MarthaB have all taken 3x4 and 4x6 pocket scrapping inspired sizes and put them to beautiful use on layouts and cards, and the layout by GeekGalz featuring the
Chalkboard collection by We R Memory Keepers shows how smaller 6x6 papers can be used to create beautiful layers.
I'm loving small things in the shop this month, too, with just one sheet of 12x12 in the mix- and even that (this particular sheet it from
Amy Tan's Cut & Paste collection) I love using in small pieces! There are several new
Albums Made Easy kits by We R Memory Keepers available now, with a smaller number of cards, smaller number of duplicates, and a smaller price point than the large Project Life kits.
Pebbles journaling pads never disappoint, and flair (the
Studio Calico Thataway designs are calling my name) and
gold glitter Thickers (from the new
Dear Lizzy Polkadot Party) are always perfect accents.
Speaking of small things, there are a whole bunch of
new exclusive flair designs in the Two Peas shop right now! I have a small selection of 9 of them to give away to one reader today! The giveaway is open to both US and international entrants, though if shipping is exorbitant I may get in touch with you about sending a Two Peas gift certificate instead.
I'm trying something a little different and using Rafflecopter to run the giveaway since I know that some people have trouble leaving comments through Disqus. With Rafflecopter I can give you multiple ways to enter (and, yes, feel free to use all of them!), so hopefully this will work a little better.

Thanks so much for stopping by my corner of the hop today! The always fabulous and funny
Lisa Dickinson is next up!
