I've really, really been missing the rebuilding trips to Pearlington that I took so many of over the last two and a half years. I'm so thankful that many of the residents are now back in their homes, but I miss the great feeling I got when I would go work with the team.
So when Jennifer sent out an email asking for volunteers to help paint a room at the Downtown Rescue Mission's new facility, you can bet that I jumped at the chance. Thanks to the team, the women's commons area is now a bright, cheerful shade of yellow. :)
