I've loved office supplies for as long as I can remember- pens, pencils, index cards, and organizers of all types enchant me, so it's no surprise that I have several go-to office supply items in my scrapbooking stash!
My most used office-y item is hands down my library date stamp. I was first introduced to using this item when one came in Becky Higgins' Project Life kit, and since then I've acquired a few more that float around my scrap room. One stays in my on-the-go mini album kit at all times, and another pair (one with current dates and one with past years) live on my scrapping desk. I almost always use them with either a black or brown Staz-On ink pad whose solvent ink dries quickly on a huge variety of porous and non-porous surfaces.
These stamps are super cheap- only a few dollars at the office supply store or here at Amazon
, and I use them on almost every layout I make now! Just check out the rest of the pages in this post and you'll see what I mean!
Tags are another staple office supply you'll find in my scrapping stash. I originally bought a box of 100 for a little under $7 at a local office supply store, but after I flew through them I decided to go for a 1,000 pack from Amazon
for about $27- a bit more expensive up front, but soooo much cheaper in the long run! Part of the reason for the cost difference is also that the original box of 100 came with attached strings, while I purposely ordered the 1,000 count pack "unstrung." I found that I was often pulling out the plain white strings and replacing them with a coordinating shade of baker's twine, anyway, so tags without strings made more sense for me. 
If you've been following the blog for a while, you've probably spotted these tags on many of my layouts, such as this one where I used a tag partially tucked under a photo to ground a cluster of embellishments.

Here a tag is used a background for two smaller journaling blocks, one for a note about the photo and the other for the date. See the common theme? Tags are a great base for grouping and clustering smaller items!!
Tags aren't just great canvases, though- they're also lovely embellishments all on their own! This layout about a trip to the Bahamas last year uses a pair of tags as part of a banner across the top of the page.
I've also used tags all on their own as mini album pages- just check out my 2010 5K mini album whose pages are made completely of both shipping and clothing tags!
And sometimes? Sometimes a tag is just a tag, though perhaps a really decorative one such as these examples from last week's Use Your Scraps adventures.
Library cards (remember when you actually had to get your library books stamped?!?!?) are a very recent addition to my stash of scrapbooking office supplies, but I'm already loving them!! Their neat lines and pre-made spots for "Author" and "Title" are great for journaling, and their format is great for list-style writing, as well.
I purchased a box of 500 at the teachers' supply store near my house for $12 (they are also available here on Amazon
for $15). They were available in smaller quantities, but, like the tags, a larger quantity was a better value in the end, and I expect to be using lots and lots of these. 
Since library cards are so new to my stash, the only example I have to share is from my Summer mini album. This book is still in progress, so be sure to check the blog in coming weeks for updates on its growth!
My final office-supply style item to share today is actually a scrapbooking item- I absolutely adore these 3"x4" journaling cards that coordinate with Becky Higgins' Project Life kit. Unfortunately they're sold out right now, but she's promised to restock them when the new Project Life is released in October.
I've used these cards on several layouts in the past few months. For this page (also from my Style Reboot) I actually cut the side off of a card before adding it, making it the perfect size.
I used one of the Becky Higgins journaling cards on this layout much as I used the tags earlier- to group a cluster of text and embellishments.
These cards, of course, also fit perfectly into page protectors from Project Life, making them ideal to use in pages such as this one, part of the "Rest of the Story" pages that I like to create in divided page protectors.
One final note- with the exception of the Becky Higgins journaling spots, none of the paper products I've mentioned here are acid free. That doesn't bother me in the least as I don't pay attention to or really worry about such things, but if it does matter to you, you'll want to be careful of what supplies you use on your pages.
