I can't believe that it's already the end of July!! It seems like I was just posting June's Counterfeit Kit blog hop post yesterday- time is really flying by!
This month's blog hop challenge is "flower power," and I chose to make a layout that both used and featured flowers. The cute little banner idea is lifted from one of Marcy Penner's pages (I don't remember which one, exactly), but the rest of the page is totally my own.
This page chronicles a little adventure we had while in the Bahamas last December. We were hiking around Paradise Island (if one can actually do such a thing) and decided to tour the (public, mind you) Versailles Gardens. The only problem was that as we were walking we somehow missed the sign indicating that the public gardens had ended and that we had entered private Ocean Club (yes, the Ocean Club in Casino Royale) property...though we figured it out pretty quickly when we saw the group of people sunbathing next to an expensive swimming pool and being catered to by young men in polo shirts and khaki shirts.
Luckily nobody really noticed that we were there, and we turned around and quietly slipped back out. Ooops!!!
I had fun adding little layers and details to this page with a set of Making Memories travel themed die cuts, a few flowers, some paper bits, and buttons (of course!).
