Curated Photo Book- Summer Visit
Sunday, December 26, 2010
Now that Christmas has passed I can safely share this photo book without worrying about spoiling anyone's surprise! I used the Curated album kit (a collaboration between Paislee Press and Kitschy Digitals) to put together a photo book of the week that Darren's brother and his family spent in Huntsville over the summer. Many of the photos are mine, but I was also able to procure copies of the photos that others took to fill in the time that I wasn't around (which was a lot of it).
I had so many great photos of the kids, so it made a great gift for both Hung and Huong and for Darren's parents. Gotta love that- put it all together once, then just order two copies instead of one. And, since the album is mostly quick pages (with a few clean, graphic layered templates thrown in), it was so easy to put the photos in, size, and clip as needed. It would have taken me forever to scrap two 20 page books by hand!
Here are the rest of the pages from the book (I also love that I didn't have to photograph them- I just uploaded the same JPEGs to both MyPikTails and Flickr).
If you're interested in purchasing the Curated kit, it's available at Oscraps. You can also see more examples of its uses here, here, here, and here. It's such a versatile kit- I can see myself using it for many more photo books in the future (I'm toying with the idea of using it for my Star Wars Celebration V photos...).
