While we still have another week to go before the debut of The Day of the Doctor, the BBC is doing its best to keep us entertained with a string of mini episodes and teasers posted to their YouTube channel. Last week I shared one, and this week I have two more, including a hint that we will indeed finally see what really went on during the Time War.

Of course, there's more geekiness than that to go around this week, so I'll go ahead and launch into the usual bunch of picks, as well. Enjoy!
From the top left:
- Jeff Bennett takes the iconic paintings of Thomas Kinkade and gives them a decidedly Star Wars twist. The AT-ATs really make the scene complete, don't you think?
- We're all familiar with the old "lorem ipsum" filler text, and, though there have been several variants (including cupcake ipsum), there hasn't been a zombie version until now.
- Nerd By Night shares instructions for making this Don't Panic towel bag, so you can been one hoopy frood of a traveler.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters collide on this wedding cake by the Black Cherry Cake Company.
- The craftsmanship on this leather Hyrulean journal is simply fantastic, right down to the hand marbled interior covers.
- Zombies can be sweet- at least on a Plants vs. Zombies cake, that is.
- Butterbeer, potions, and even a Quidditch pitch complete this lovely Harry Potter inspired party.
- Everyone needs a TARDIS at their wedding!
- Rice and seaweed become art in Samantha Lee's Instagram food photos.
There's one more video to include in this week's post, and it is not who related! Lego Star Wars is returning to the Cartoon Network on November 27th for the third and final installment of The Yoda Chronicles, Attach of the Jedi. You can check out a tiny preview below.
MTFBWY!
