Friday Favorites

Friday, August 6, 2010

Hola, and welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites! I'll be out of town this weekend which means no crafting for me, but I'm not too sad because I'll be running a 5K, hanging with my family, and scoping out HomeGoods for throw pillows and curtains for the living room.

For those of you who will be crafting, though, here are some luscious links to inspire your weekend:

From left the right:

  • Learn to make this gorgeous tree out of cupcake liners at Paper Crave. I can just envision decorating one of these for Halloween or Christmas and going nuts with Glimmer Mists and all kinds of vintage goodness.
  • Check out Zakka Life's post on making your own pretty twist ties. So easy!
  • Monika Wright has another gorgeous mini album on her blog. I'm in love with pretty much everything this girl does.
  • What's the only think that can improve a cupcake? Ninjas, of course! Download your own printable ninja cupcake toppers (siders?) at Zakka Life.
  • Linda Albrecht has posted a tutorial on making these super cute crepe paper flowers.
  • Elle's Studio shares a gorgeous Summer Documented mini album, along with a video tutorial showing how it's made.
  • Want a free digital scrapbooking class? Basic Grey has some new video tutorials on their YouTube channel.
  • Because you can never have enough mini albums, here's another from Evalicious. She's sharing a sneak peek at the new kits she will be offering when she re-opens her shop in the fall.
  • And, finally, if you're in an organizational sort of mood, All Sorts shares this great idea for using a cupcake stand (yes, a cupcake stand!) to store small items in your craft room.
Have a scrappy weekend!
