Friday Favorites

Friday, September 3, 2010

As promised, I'm back with Friday Favorites this week! Let's see what coolness I've found out in blogland, shall we?

From left to right:
  • Davinie Fiero shows how to make a super cute mini album with greeting cards (think birthdays, showers, etc) on the Crate Paper blog.
  • Elise Blaha has a great article on being a tourist in your own hometown at Marta Writes.
  • Check out The Studio blog for a gorgeous mini-album tutorial by Ania.
  • If you love those little kraft envelopes from Maya Road, then you'll love this free downloadable SVG file that allows you to cut your own using your Cricut. Head on over to Craft Gossip for the link.
  • Speaking of cool Cricut projects, how adorable is this little monster card that Annette made using her B Is For Boy cartridge?
  • Lisa Tutman-Oglesby has posted a how-to for making these adorable party favor bags, plus a recipe for homemade animal crackers to fill them with!
  • Cruise on over to the Pink Paislee blog to see a tutorial on using mists with their new Parisian Anthology line. Aren't those doilies gorgeous?
  • Pinefeather shows how to use Papertrey Ink Impression Plates and a Cuttlebug to get a cool letterpress effect. For something similar using embossing folders, check out the video linked at Radio Girl Cards.
  • The Ella Publishing blog has a great article on using clusters of embellishments to decorate greeting cards.
Have a scrappy weekend! I've already started mine early and made a page with one of the fantastic Pink Ninja Addicts kits.
