Friday Favorites almost didn't happen this week!! The Picasa to Blogger interface went down for nearly two days, and I wasn't able to upload any photos to my blog. It's fixed now, and I can get on with sharing some scrappy inspiration as well as my current favorites from the CHA sneak peeks that are rolling out!
I found this cute tutorial for making a flower out of vintage fabric over at Rachie's Place. I've seen similar flowers from Prima and other manufacturers, so this is a great, cost effective way to get some of your own.
I just love the white space on this layout from the Studio Calico blog.
I already keep my ribbon stored in baskets on my Expedit, but this is a good alternative. And the best part? The pattern for the card is provided as a free download in SVG format- perfect for digital die cutters!
And now to the CHA sneak peeks. Honestly, there's not as much that I'm seeing that I want this time around, which is probably a good thing.
I do love this Mariposa paper pad from DCWV. I love butterflies, and the colors are gorgeous!
How adorable is the Nerdy Bird line from Sassafras? I have no idea what I'd use it for, but that little bird with the glasses on reminds me a lot of...well, me. :)
American Crafts has some great offerings this time around, too. I haven't seen the entire Abode line yet, but I love that paper with all the cute dishes and utensils on shelves!
I also love the browns and greens in their Botanique line. I wonder how long it will be before these show up at Tuesday Morning...hmmm. :)
Hambly had the coolest first sneak of all- here it is coming right off of their screen printing press! I'm definitely going to have to buy about a dozen of those cupcake and doily transparencies!
Crate Paper is a company I've never purchased much from, but their Brook and Pink Plum collections have really caught my eye this time around. Brook is so close to my current favorite color palette (that's all over my scrap room), and while I'm not a big pink fan, I like the fuchsia mixed with bright orange and dark brown in Pink Plum. It reminds me a lot of Basic Grey's Indian Summer, which I also love.
I'll be back next week with more favorites and more scrap room tour!
did you see basic grey's new paper . . . i'm totally lovin' the basic's collection!
