I've been a huge fan of Echo Park ever since they released their first collection, so when May Flaum (she's a big fan of theirs, too) and I were making our plan of attack for the first day of CHA I asked if we could go visit their booth first. Speaking of May, she's got some rockin' CHA coverage of her own going on right now, and you'll definitely want to check it out!
Echo Park released several new paper collections at this show, including four regular lines, an extension to their popular Dots and Stripes collection, and several Mini Themes.
Two of the regular paper collections, This And That: Graceful and This And That: Charming, are two of my very favorite new lines from the whole show. Echo Park took their signature bright colors and graphic styling and mixed them with neutrals and woodgrains for a classic look. I'm in love!
This And That: Graceful is the more feminine of the two lines with bright pinks and punches of aqua.
How cool is this ruler paper?!?!?
Both of the This And That lines feature expanded embellishment options including layered chipboard and brads.
I mean, how gorgeous are those brads?!?!
Charming is the more masculine of the This And That lines and also my favorite of the pair (though I do love them both)
Patterned papers like this ticket stub/ledger mashup make these lines perfect for Project Life. I admit that I had Project Life on the brain at the entire show.
This fun crossword puzzle print would make a great layout background.
And there's another version of the ruler paper, as well.
Cameras were a big theme throughout the show, and I was tickled to see this vintage camera print in the collection.
Echo Park's other two standard releases were Note to Self and Hello Summer.
Note to Self is another collection that would fit well with Project Life. It has a general office-supply theme, and the papers sport prints such as tags and tickets.
I totally love this ViewMaster print!
Hello Summer is everything you'd expect in an Echo Park line- bright colors, fun, cheery patterns, and lots of happy in paper format.
Echo Park's Dots and Stripes line has been extended with the new Soda Fountain and Homefront additions featuring colors that compliment the new lines well.
Echo Park also introduced a series of Mini Themes at the show. These small collections contain six papers and a 12x6 sticker sheet each and are tightly centered around a single theme such as pets or camping (plus many more). These collections are a great way to get just the right amount of themed product without having to buy a massive paper line that you probably wouldn't use up when scrapping a single themed event.
Echo Park also introduced two fun new mini albums at the show. These albums, available in either a circle or a rectangle, feature pull-out tabs that allow room for more photos, journaling, and embellishment.
And of course the Echo Park booth was covered in gorgeous designer projects!
I can't wait to get my hands on so many of these new releases! Stop And Scrap currently has This And That, Note To Self, Dots and Stripes, and the Mini Themes available for preorder, and you can save an additional 12% off the sale price by using the coupon code SCRAPPYJEDI. I'll be back tomorrow, all weekend, and all next week with even more coverage of CHA Winter 2012!
