I remember clearly when Jillibean Soup first appeared on the scrapbooking scene. They were like no other company on the market with their vintage-y graphic (yes, I did just make that up!) mix of designs and their inclusion of kraft paper in many of their collections. Fast forward several years later, and Jillibean has stayed true to their roots. Their booth at CHA Winter 2012 was filled with some great new collections, new basic products, and, of course, lots and lots of kraft!
Kraft is most evident in the new Game Day Chili collection. There was a noticeable absence of sports-themed lines on the show floor this time around, making Jillibean's great mix of bold colors stand out even more.
Jillibean is introducing several new shades of their popular twine at this show. We'll take a look at all of the colors together a little later in this post, but here's a glance at the card that coordinates with Game Day Chili.
Neopolitan Bean Bique is a super fun everyday line with lots of aqua (you know that makes me happy!!). The emphasis is on documentation and telling the story, and everything from the telephones on the paper to the phrases on the Soup Label stickers support that theme.
These epoxy buttons are a new type of embellishment from Jillibean this season. Each package contains a variety of colors and sizes that coordinate with each collection.
The name of Jillibean's Easter and spring line, Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup, caught my attention immediately- I'm a southern girl, after all!
This line is absolutely adorable, and if you liked the dressed-up penguins from their Christmas line last year, you're in for a treat with these adorable bunnies all decked out for spring!
Coconut Lime Soup is a fun summer line filled with bright colors and fruity patterns.
Mason jars such as the ones on the paper below were a big trend at this show- check out May Flaum's article at Scrapbook Update for more on that!
Jillibean has added some new embellishments to their standard lineup, too! These cut little wooden flags are new this season.
And of course they have lots of kraft accessories like these little envelopes and pockets that are the perfect size for cards.
These mini alpha stickers are new, too, and I'm totally loving the font- it's just perfect! I'll take one in every color, please. :)
Here's a look at a few more kraft accessories in the Jillibean lineup, including tags in several sizes.
In fact, this beautiful display was made using Jillibean tags.
I mentioned the new twine colors earlier, and here's an up-close look at the three new color mixes being added to the Jillibean catalog.
Button mixes are new this season, too.
Three new mini albums are being offered, including a sunburst, pennant, and full butterfly shape.
There were lots and lots of great mini albums scattered about the Jillibean booth, and I photographed several of them to share.
Jillibean is continuing their partnership with Unity Stamps, and new sets (along with gorgeous sample cards) were prominently on display in the booth.
Let's take a look at just a few more design team projects before we go.
