Veteran scrapbooking company Fancy Pants arrived at CHA Winter 2012 with four new collections to offer consumers.
Be You, the first collection on our tour of their CHA booth, is right on trend with its "in the moment," "documenting the everyday" theme. With the massive rise in popularity of documentation systems such as Project Life in the last year, lines like this are perfectly poised to make their way into both traditional scrapbooks and some of the newer formats, as well.
Fancy Pants always nails it with the embellishments- I've long been a fan of their chipboard elements in particular- especially those banner pieces!
There are coordinating mini stamps for each collection, as well, including these for Be You.
Fancy Pants introduced not one but two summer lines at this show. I'm loving Summer Soul's mix of pink, yellow, red, and aqua. I am not usually a pink person, but this CHA's crop of paper collections featuring a bolder shade of the color are not setting off my pink-o-meter like the pastel shades do.
Where Summer Soul is a more feminine summer collection, Wave Searcher steps in to take over on the masculine side of things. The same yellows and reds are present here, but they're teamed up with blues and browns for a more boyish feel.
In a show filled with baby themed collections (seriously, it seemed like everyone had one!), Childish Things stood out as one of the few lines targeted toward scrapping the preschool/elementary school years. Not that it's school themed by any means, but it would work perfectly for that age group.
And just a couple more projects to round things out here.
Wave Searcher and Summer Soul should be available in the latter half of March, and Be You and Childish Things should be hitting store shelves any day now. You can preorder all four of the new collections in the Fancy Pants section of Stop and Scrap, and if you use coupon code SCRAPPYJEDI you'll receive 12% off the already discounted list price.
