Grpahic 45 is another company whose booth I wasn't able to get to while at CHA Summer 2011 (I really apparently didn't have my act together then!), so they were on my definite must-see list for the Winter 2012 show.
I've always admired the detail in Graphic 45's papers- they're so stunningly well done that I often find myself wanting to frame them and not quite knowing exactly where to start with actually using them. I'm always afraid I'll not do the product justice!!
Luckily, Graphic 45 has a top-notch design team that turned out literally dozens upon dozens of gorgeous projects for the show- so many, in fact, that this tour through their booth contains more than 80 photos just to try to get it all in!
We'll start off with the new Little Darlings line- a baby collection that contains both boy and girl specific papers (plus many that work for both) in the same line.
See what I mean by detailed and gorgeous? You could quite literally frame this page and hang it in a nursery and it would stand just fine all on its own.
But you know that CHA booths are all about inspiration, so of course there was a cabinet just bursting (or overflowing, actually) with projects featuring this sweet collection.
You'll notice that the vast majority of projects here are home decor and altered items and not scrapbook pages. That trend ran throughout the whole of the Graphic 45 booth, and I found that even I, as altered-item-challenged as I am, was feeling inspired to make something more dimensional by the time I finished ooh-ing, aaaah-ing, and photographing everything in sight.
Hey, look, it's a scrapbook page!! :)
And another! This was actually hanging out the outside of one of the walls of their booth. Graphic 45 artfully packed every square inch of that place, inside and out, with loads of inspiration.
Olde Curiosity Shoppe is filled with imagery of all the miscellaneous and quirky vintage odds and ends that you'd expect to find in an old antiques shop, with just a bit of whimsy (in the form of flying pigs) thrown in for fun.
Apparently by the time I got to this section of the booth I'd gathered my wits about me enough to remember to photograph more of the actual product itself along with the projects! Thank goodness, or else I would have missed out on being able to share these coordinating cling stamps.
Olde Curiosity Shoppe also had its own case of projects, all just as stunning as the ones created for the Little Darlings collection.
Tropical Travelogue was Graphic 45's mid-season release between the Summer and Winter shows, so it's been out for a little while and is already shipping from or available at most scrapbook stores. It was still well-represented in the booth, though.
As someone who loves to travel to places like Nassau and Aruba (and has the Dominican Republic and Bali on the must-go list for future travel) I've completely fallen in love with the lush tropical vibe of this line.
I also love that it has so many elements that can be cut apart and used in little bits here and there on pages- I think it's something that even this clean and simple scrapping girl could wrap her brain around using!
I might have lingered just a tiny bit longer over these projects since I'm so enamored with the overall subject matter of the collection. :)
Isn't this paper flower simply stunning? Those petals and perfect paper curls are exquisite!
I heard quite a bit of buzz about Graphic 45's new Kraft Reflections collection on the show floor (and I'm still hearing rumblings of it a week later!).
These papers take Graphic 45's intricate styling and translate it to neutral toned (think blacks and browns) prints on kraft paper, making them instantly usable not only with every other Graphic 45 collection, but also with almost any other paper collection that was being displayed on the show floor!
The design team did a great job of showing how these papers can be used all by themselves, too.
Graphic 45 rounded out their offerings at this show with some new additions to their Staples line of embellishments. Metal butterflies and clothespins along with paper flowers and a few other new curiosities made their way into the Graphic 45 family this time around.
Graphic 45's new products are scheduled to begin shipping later this month, and if you'd like to reserve some for yourself beforehand Stop and Scrap has Little Darlings, Olde Curiosity Shoppe, and Kraft Reflections available for preorder. The also have a few pieces of Tropical Travelogue in stock and shipping now. As always, you can save an extra 12% off your order by using the discount code SCRAPPYJEDI.
I think I'm going to leave it at one CHA post today since it's such a long one. I'll be back tomorrow with more!
