I made a total of four layouts this month (you've already seen one of them here), though I had at least half a dozen more planned out that I never got to. I think I could have scrapped all month with these kits and not run out of stuff to play with!
This first page is probably my favorite of the batch- I loved using that bold patterned paper (from the Patterned Paper Add-On) as a background. The twine is actually from the kit packaging, and the rest of the elements are a combination of the Main and Embellishment kits.
Photos from a winter outing at Bridge Street last year.
I went for floral and feminine on this next layout, which if you know May is totally appropriate. I pulled lots of pink, yellow, and tan pieces out to match the flowers in her dress, then glitzed things up a bit with some pops of the silver tinsel ribbon in the Main Kit (there are items from all the kits on this page).
My last kit layout for the month was a Project Life spread (Week 7 of 2013), and I completely demolished the cut-apart journaling card sheet from the kit while making it. I love having a big variety of cards on one layout! There was a ton left in the kit when I finished, but I really only have patience to use the same supplies for one Project Life week (I was a total Core Kit dropout a few years ago- I need variety!). After I finished this page I mixed all the items in with the regular kits (I love mixing all my kits and add-ons together, anyway!) so I could use them on my traditional layouts, too.
Here's a look at the full kit reveal before I go:
April Main Kit - "Play Land"
Embellishment Add-On - "Indulge Yourself"
Project Life Kit - "Captured"
Patterned Paper Add-On
Kit Add-On - "Happy Pursuits"
Happy reveal, everyone! I'll be popping back in tomorrow with my Project Life video lesson this month over at Two Peas!
