Counterfeit Kit Blog Hop: March 2011
Monday, March 28, 2011
My apologies to anyone who came here for the blog hop earlier this morning- I completely forgot to schedule this post last night!!
Hi, and welcome to the Counterfeit Kit challenge blog hop for March of 2011!! I'm so excited that you stopped by! If you happened upon this stop in the hop first, you might want to go back to the main Counterfeit Kit page and start from the beginning.
Our challenge this month was to scraplift ourselves, which for me is a challenge in and of itself since I always seem to be using sketches or scraplifting someone else!! For this layout, I chose to go back to a sketch that I'd used on a layout previously and try it with a completely different theme.
These photos are from my trip to DC in April of 2009. Darren and I went for the Cherry Blossom Festival, but I think we both ended up falling in love with the Smithsonian Natural History Museum while we were there.
Scrapping from my kits (you can see the ones I created here) was an absolute blast this month. I know I've said it before on previous posts, but Counterfeit Kit is one of the best scrapbooking ideas ever!
Is that actual stamping on one of my layouts?!?!?!? Why yes, yes, it is!! It seems that including stamps in the kits has actually helped me to use them!
Thank you for visiting!! Please be sure to stop by Kim's lovely blog next to see what she's created this month!
