cha winter 2013 : glitz designs
Wednesday, February 6, 2013
Glitz Designs was something of a sleeper hit at the last CHA show- they came out of nowhere with three amazing new collections that caught the attention of many scrappers who hadn't previously shopped the brand. Glitz positioned itself to do the same thing at CHA Winter 2013, and if the rate at which their new collections are selling out over at Two Peas in a Bucket is any indicator, they've struck gold again with these designs.
Warning- I had a serious washi obsession in this booth, too (much like I did in the Doodlebug post).
Uncharted Waters was my personal favorite in the Glitz booth with it's deep, saturated colors and a nautical theme that managed to not cross the line into whimsical.
Glitz introduced decorative tapes to their collections at CHA Summer 2012, and they brought them back with new designs for this season's show.
Roller stamps used to be a staple in Glitz collections, and they've found their way in once again. Each new line has both a large and a small roller, and many of the designs are both trendy and useful.
Color Me Happy lives up to its name, and I love how Glitz has paired of bright hues with contrasting woodgrains and chalkboard prints.
That contrast even carries over to the washi tape, with both a woodgrain and a rainbow chevron pattern included in the collection.
Love You Madly is soft and feminine, especially when compared to the bold colors of the other two collections in the booth, and the gray that I spotted in so many Valentine's or love themed collections at the show makes an appearance here, too.
Glitz Designs products have already been shipped to stores, and you can see the available selection here at Two Peas in a Bucket.
