My Mind's Eye has gained a reputation for being one of the first manufacturers to get their products out to stores after CHA, so it's no surprise that their CHA Winter 2013 collections are already available at Two Peas in a Bucket (and are selling out fast)!
Jen Allyson once again designed an amazing mega-collection for My Mind's Eye (they tend to have at least one large new product line containing four smaller sub-collections), and those who were fans of Jen's previous MME collections (Miss Caroline, Lost and Found, Lost and Found 2+3) will find much that's familiar here.
We'll start off by looking at the Memorable line within Collectable- a soft, feminine range with lots of doilies and florals.
There are many familiar My Mind's Eye embellishments here (brads, chipboard, and sets of wood and chipboard buttons) and they've also quietly dropped some old standards such as rub-ons and baker's twine in favor of trendier items like washi tape and enamel dots. This was something we saw with MME at the last CHA, as well, and I appreciate that the company is continually looking to freshen up the lineup of available embellishments.
The Unforgettable colorway within Collectable keeps the pinks and also adds in punchy aqua, yellow, and a few muted browns for an eclectic feel.
Notable is an energetic mix of orange, yellow, and aqua.
Somewhat more muted (and definitely a set to look at if you want to scrapbook pages for boys!) is the Remarkable collection.
Boy Crazy and My Girl are two smaller collections that My Mind's Eye brought to market at the show, and as you can guess from the names they are geared toward scrapping the little people in your life.
My Mind's Eye has included washi tape in the last 2-3 releases (including two of their mid-releases), and at CHA they also introduced a selection of washi tape sets that are independent of a paper collection.
Let's take a last look at a few booth projects before wrapping up this little tour.
All of the new My Mind's Eye collections are currently in stock and shipping from Two Peas in a Bucket.
