cha winter 2013 : crate paper
Wednesday, February 6, 2013
We've already taken a look at what Crate Paper has in store for us with the new Maggie Holmes collection, and now it's time for a peek at the other two new lines that they released at CHA Winter 2013.
DIY Shop just hit the store at Two Peas in a Bucket today, and it's a fun, eclectic mix of typewriters, maps, and ephemera-style prints. It has the feel of rummaging through an estate sale or walking through an antique market!
The DIY Shop collection is where you'll find these fun photo overlays that give your pictures an Instagram-like effect with no post-processing necessary.
Washi Paper is a new addition to the Crate Paper family this release. If you love the idea of washi tape but don't want a huge roll of a single print, then you might want to check out this 12x12 sheet that contains seventeen different patterns in 12" lengths. Just cut out the one that you want to use and go!
Party Day is a vintage-style birthday collection filled with plenty of cupcakes and bright colors.
Fourteen was a mid-release collection from Crate, delivered to stores just in time for Valentine's Day, but since it was hanging in the booth I thought I'd go ahead and photograph it anyway- it's such a lovely line!
And of course the Crate Paper design team did an outstanding job with their booth projects, as usual.
All of the collections (with the exception of Project Life) in the American Crafts family of brands are currently shipping to stores. You can find new items from Crate Paper as they arrive and are loaded into the system here at Two Peas in a Bucket.
