Lawn Fawn definitely had one of the happiest booths on the entire CHA Winter 2012 show floor! I mean, how can you not be immediately drawn in by gnomes, toadstools and adorable animals all residing atop a grassy green "lawn?" Walking into this booth was definitely a breath of fresh air- it was like a little park in the middle of CHA!

All of this adorableness is the work of Lawn Fawn's owner and designer, Kelly Marie Alvarez, who's quite adorable herself!

Kelly's been hard at work since Lawn Fawn's last release getting ready for this CHA show, and Lawn Fawn didn't disappoint its fans (and by the looks of things they gained quite a few new ones, as well!).

The biggest news from this small company was the announcement of Lawn Fawn's first paper line ever, Bright Side.

Kelly designed all of these papers herself, opting to use hand-drawn images instead of relying on software to create perfect shapes. That means that these papers are as unique as Lawn Fawn's stamps (they even design their own fonts) and definitely have an awesome homemade feel about them (hint, hint, look for more on these papers from May Flaum and I closer to their release date!).

I can't decide if one of the kraft prints or the gray ombre chevron is my favorite paper- it's so hard to choose just one!

There are also coordinating letter stickers in two sizes and a 6x6 paper pad that's just perfect for cardmakers.

Let's take a look at some of the sweet layouts that the Lawn Fawn design team created.

Lawn Fawn is also releasing their own twines! These are a bit thicker than standard baker's twine and have a slight waxy coating (don't worry, you can't really tell its there at all!) to help prevent fraying. The natural colored twine is inkable and has been tested with all kinds of mists, sprays, and even Tim Holtz's Distress Inks. You can literally make it any color you need it to be, and all of the twines ship on spools to prevent the kinking that can occur with card-wrapped twine.

And of course Lawn Fawn showed up at CHA with new stamp sets- 10 of them, to be exact. The photo below shows the new "Stay Tuned" set along with several of Lawn Fawn's older releases.

"Handmade with Love" and "Flutter By" are the new releases here.

And check out the new "Chevron Backdrops" (you know I'm loving that one!!) and "You've Got Mail" sets below.

"Claire's ABCs" is a new font in the Lawn Fawn family, and it matches the font of the letter stickers that are being released with the new paper set. "Critters Ever After" is the latest addition to the "Critters" line that Lawn Fawn is famous for. I simply adore the gryphon stamp (and that would have nothing to do with the fact that one of my cats is named Griffin...ahem... :) ).

The two photos below show the remaining new sets- "Grand Greetings," "Flying By," and "Gnome Sweet Gnome."

Lawn Fawn sells stamps on their own web site, and you can also find them at Two Peas in a Bucket. The new releases aren't quite out yet, but stay tuned because they're coming soon!
