geek girl | the lego edition

This week at work found me starting to settle into my (cavernous) new office and trying to personalize it a bit. I spent a little free time one day building a small Star Wars Lego set that my parents gave me for Christmas (don't freak out, guys, I was on my lunch break!), and then as the week went on I kept discovering awesome Lego projects on all the geek blogs that I read. I took it as a sign that I should round them up for this week's Geek Girl.

Just a note to J...if you're reading this, you might want to sit down first...

• This Lego Darth Vader minifig ornament is part of Hallmark's 2011 collection. I might just have to run out tomorrow and hunt one down...and maybe check out these Star Wars ornaments found at Wal-Mart while I'm at it.

• I've never been a Battlestar Galactica fan, but this 54 pound replica of one of the battleships is absolutely amazing!
