friday favorites | process

There have been so many questions asked and so many answers shared about scrapbooking process lately! It's quite cool to see how someone else works through the steps of making a layout or card, so for this week's Friday Favorites I've rounded up a bunch of posts that do just that.

From the top left:

  • Amy Tan actually has two process shares in this week's roundup, starting with a photo-based step-by-step of how she assembled this lovely travel layout over at Two Peas in a Bucket.
  • Jana Werner posted a video showing her assembling one of her gorgeous pages from start to finish.
  • The PageMaps anniversary celebration included a series of four videos featuring design Lynn Ghahary assembling a layout from beginning to end, including how she made some of the embellishments! You can see Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4 on the PageMaps blog.
  • Rahel Menig demonstrates her stamping process in a series of videos. Be sure to check them all out! (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4)
  • My second selection from Amy Tan this week is this great little video showing her assembling a card (with stamping).
  • Elle's Studio recently had two great step-by-step posts up, authored by former design team members. The first is by Marcy Penner.
  • And the second Elle's Studio process post is by Allison Waken. Love that two of my favorite scrappers posted back to back!
  • Emma Trout posted about her design process for this lovely layout using the Webster's Pages Girl Land collection.
  • And last, but certainly not ever least when it comes to process, Shimelle Laine's videos are an excellent spot to find process inspiration galore. Some of my favorites of hers are her Sketch of the Week and Glitter Girl videos, and you can also check out her entire YouTube channel here.
