May Flaum has been running a new, improved, and free version of her wildly popular Camp Scrap class (you may remember the original version of this class that she taught for Big Picture Classes two years ago) on her blog for most of the summer (it just entered week 7, in fact!!). If you've been missing out on her layouts, cards, tutorials, and videos, you can check out all of her Camp Scrap posts here, including last Wednesday's guest post by moi.
May and I have a lot of the same tastes in food (the layout above documents one of our CHA dining adventures from the Winter 2012 show), TV (Burn Notice and Big Bang Theory, anyone?), and scrapbooking supplies (we enable each other to no end on buying all kinds of pretty paper), but our scrapbooking styles are pretty well at opposite ends of the spectrum. May is fantastically artsy and isn't afraid to get messy with inks and paints, and I feel brave if I simply pop the lid off of one of my paint dabbers- never mind using it!
Since May spent a week of camp scrap featuring Studio Calico's July kit, Elmwood Park (you can see her layouts here, here, and here), I thought it would be great fun to scrap a layout using the same supplies she featured, but showing how those same papers and embellishments look when used on a different style of page. You can hop on over to her blog to read the rest (if you haven't seen it already), and be sure to take advantage of the great discount codes and giveaways she's got going on right now through her Camp Scrap sponsors!
