It's the first Friday Favorites of October, and I'm starting to see some Halloween projects sneaking in to the picks this week. There's also ::gasp:: a Christmas card in the mix! My goal this year is to have all things Christmas-y planned, bought, and done by the end of October- less time doing the Christmas Crazy means more time to spend on my Journal Your Christmas album this year, which sounds awesome to me!

There are lots of non-holiday projects in this week's roundup, too, so there should be a little something for everyone. Let's dive in!

From the top left:

  • I spotted these super cute monster cupcake toppers at Eighteen 25
  • Michelle Wooderson walks through her process of turning a sheet of label stickers into gorgeous layered embellishments.
  • This lovely vacation mini book was posted by Adrienne Alvis- I love her style!
  • Learn how to collage your own patterned paper background at Aussie Scrap Source.
  • Jennifer McGuire shows a novel use for wood veneer stars on our first official Christmas pick of the season.
  • The ever-creative Ashli Oliver posted an insanely awesome idea for getting the most of out your leftover Thickers and letter stickers.
  • In the first of two magazine upcycling projects this week, Jess Witty shows off pillow boxes made from her kids' old Highlights magazines.
  • Eat Drink Chic recycles magazines into gift tags- a project perfect for any time of year.
  • Find step-by-step instructions for making this over-the-top gorgeous Halloween wreath at Rhonna Designs.
TTFN!
