I periodically checked in on the CHA Winter 2013 chat board over at Two Peas while I was at the show, just to make sure I was covering the booths that people were interested in. There was quite a bit of buzz about the craft armoire in the Jinger Adams collection, so on Sunday morning I made her booth my first stop of the day.
This over-the-door craft armoire (shipping in April with an MSRP of $250 US) has cubbies, pockets, shelves, and hooks for just about any scrapbook supply you can think of, and it's narrow enough to fit on the back of pretty much any door- even inside a closet (a question I received on my Instagram feed). That narrow size, however, does mean that it can only hold a limited amount of product, so this unit is probably best for crafters with small stashes.
The display unit in the booth seemed to be quite well made- the paper slots were sturdy and the pull-out drawers were solid and were easily removed and replaced.
The side opposite the paper caddies has spaces for small jars and canisters of embellishments, hooks for scissors, and a pocket organizer similar to over-the-door shoe holders. The trays at the bottom of the demo unit were black, but I was told that during final production they will be white to match the rest of the armoire.
Jinger also unveiled two new paper collections at CHA. The first is the bright and summer-y Sweet Tart with a trendy navy, orange, and yellow palette.
Jinger's second collection may appeal to scrappers with lots of sports photos to get into albums. Sport That has papers and embellishments for a variety of athletic activities ranging from football to basketball to soccer.
