Let's jump right in and take a look at the first new line on our little tour of the Lily Bee booth- Destination. This travel-themed collection uses a palette of primary colors that's become so popular for travel lines, and mixed amongst the map, globe, and airplane patterns you'll also find non-themed prints like dots, triangles, and chevrons that are great for everyday scrapping, too.
The back of every sheet in the Destination collection is a woodgrain print with a subtle white pattern printed on top. Every sheet is different, and you'll find confetti hearts, scalloped lines, and hexagons, just to name a few.
For the past couple of years Lily Bee's embellishments have consisted of stickers (both alphabet, and image), stamps, and journaling cards. This season Lily Bee is shaking things up and has dropped both the stamps and journaling cards in favor of more dimensional embellishments to coordinate with each line. You'll now find a pack of mixed buttons (including fabric brads, buttons, flair badges, and twine all in a single package), a sheet of chipboard, and also word, "chit chat," and label stickers. 6x6 pads are still in the mix, as are alphabet stickers, though the font has changed and now there are two sizes of alphabet included on each 12x12 sheet!
Lily Bee's Sweet Shoppe collection has a fun 50's vibe to it, carried through by the scattering of black and red in the line, without being too thematic. I love the touches of aqua here, too!
Pinwheel, Lily Bee's third collection, is bright and fresh with a summer-y vibe in its orange, yellow, aqua, and red color palette. The palette for this one looks like it will coordinate well with two of Lily Bee's previous releases- Buttercup and Double Dutch- so you might want to look into picking up this new line if you want something to help freshen up the older collections in your stash.
And, as always, the Lily Bee design team did a stellar job of decking the booth out with amazing projects! And I can say that without sounding like I'm bragging since I didn't have any projects there this time- my work schedule prevented me from making the kind of fast turnaround that was needed for these.
All three of Lily Bee's new collections are scheduled to ship to retailers in March, and you can keep an eye out for them to make an appearance in the Lily Bee section at Two Peas in a Bucket.
