Merry Eve of Christmas Eve, geeklings! Just popping in with this week's geeky picks, and since there wasn't a lot of Christmas in last week's roundup I tried to find lots of holiday goodness for you this time around!

From the top left:

  • I love this Star Wars twist on Santa's Sleigh by Bart Zimmy.
  • Club Jade hasn't had quite as many Santa Maul posts as usual this year, but I do enjoy them when they pop up!
  • The big news in Doctor Who-ville right now is the upcoming Christmas Special- word is there will be a new opening sequence unveiled during its December 25th run, and the TARDIS interior is getting a bit of a makeover, as well!
  • The mystery behind a journal bearing a striking resemblance to the one in the Indiana Jones movies appearing at the University of Chicago was opened and closed in the last couple of weeks.
  • If you're just not quite ready to give up lights after Christmas, ThinkGeek has a set of Portal Companion Cube string lights that work well with any season...especially those involving cake.
  • Somehow the release of the 332 page tome Star Wars and History flew under my radar, but after reading the review at Roqoo Depot, it sounds interesting!
  • SyFy (I will never, ever forgive them for renaming their network...or for canceling Stargate: Atlantis) will be airing the entire first series of the Doctor Who spinoff, K-9, on Christmas Day.
  • I seriously cannot express how awesome this Die Hard cookie artwork is. Yippee ki yay...and all that. :)
  • While I'm not really into comics, the upcoming new addition to the Star Wars: Legacy series, starring the great-great-granddaughter of Han and Leia sounds a bit intriguing. You can read more about the series at Club Jade here and here.
MTFBWY- and Merry Christmas to everyone!
